The Gholson Hotel is a five story landmark in downtown Ranger, Texas. Built in 1921 as part of the Texas oil boom, the Gholson Hotel was the site for many big oil deals and transactions. The rooms at the Gholson Hotel were converted into apartments during the 1930’s and today are designated as affordable living apartments for the elderly and disabled.
