Jose Lopez

Jose is attending the University of California at Merced where he is studying Environmental Engineering with the goal of working in renewable energy to help transform our environment. Since he was young, Jose has always had an interest in the sciences and wanted to be an inventor. Growing up in East LA, he says he has learned from his struggles and hopes to share his successes with his community. Jose is excited to use his CHC scholarship towards his tuition and relieve the burden from his father, who has been supporting him along the way.
