Liz is graduating Colorado Mountain College in the fall and hopes to continue her education towards becoming a teacher. She is an excellent student and is on the Dean’s and President’s List, as well as an active member of MALCS, a professional organization for self-identified Chicana, Latina, Native American and Indigenous students. Last year, Liz received a CHC scholarship that allowed her to continue her studies and she will use this year’s scholarship to complete her Associate’s Degree. Liz will be the first member of her family to graduate from college.
