Nussan is a single mother of four, abandoned by her husband, who recently graduated from Forsyth Technical Community College with an Associate’s degree. Her CHC Scholarship will help her pay for her tuition at Winton-Salem State University where she is studying to become a laboratory technician. Upon graduation, Nussan plans to pursue a career as a lab tech job, which she hopes will better her children’s life and give back to the community that has supported she and her children for so many years.
